Unfortunately, I don't speak a word of Spanish... Well, no, in fact I can ask for coffees in a café and stuff (I learned this when I went to Barcelona) . My school didn't teach Spanish. Pfffft.
I dont speak Spanish either, but from the french I know I actually understand this! Kohai wote Why did u post in spanish when you speak english, right? And I THINK Carl is asking Who is Spanish, identify yourself or thats my best guess....how about you also speak english, Carl?
In soviet Russia, messages post you!
That was probably pretty bad... I just finished level 1, and summer means I didn't have to think about it for quite some time...
No hablo español...
I think you mean "Ihr seid"?
I speak english very well.
Yes, you do.
Neszis: Carl said "Because I live in Spain! And I'd like to know if there are some who do the same." At least, the last part's more of a rough translation.
If you don't speak Spanish, well, too bad. he was asking a question to Spanish-speakers only. Therefore if you can't speak Spanish, well, the question wasn't meant for you anyhow. ;p I learned Spanish in high school but don't speak it very well. My German's way up there, though.
EDIT: Hehe, MaxVeers, I think he also means "blöd".
This is wonderful.
Makes me feel like I`m truly part of an international community!!!
Hey stop picking apart my German!
Can we NOT turn this into a MULTI-LINGUAL Forum Board.
We communicate in ENGLISH here - m'kay ??!!
If it ain't broke - don't mess with it.
Oh, but Star Wars has plenty of instances of multiligualism! Even my fan film, I hope, will have German in it (if I can teach one of the kids enough German to get by, anyway.) With subtitles.
We're pushing four languages here (would be five, but no one actually spoke Portuguese). Not bad.
I didn't mean that Star Wars Fandome is not multilingual .... it's just that that VAST MAJORITY of people on thsi Forum read and speak English. So posting threads in a completely different language is like posting it in Klingon or something for MOST of the people here.
I agree with you JediTac. With English most of us can comunicate, but speaking in others languages might tend to segragate users. It's an interesting dilema, and without a babel fish around there is no easy solution.
