Yahhh!! Was April Fools good for you?

I've been back and forth between Comms and 'Choose a Board', and one moment it's all like, SW, then suddenly there's Yarael Poof with an AYBABTU message, then in here we've got Mr Spock and some beasty that(I think) was in Buffy, and then back out there again it's all like *** Matrix and stuff.

YYaaaaahhh! I'm going crazy I tells ya!!

George from Rainbow's a lovely touch though. A calming influence.

But er, what's happening exactly? Have I missed something? Has Zerosleep been slipped something weird in his coffee? Have fans from a Matrix forum and a Star Trek one banded together and bought out Philip Wise's shares in TF.n?

Am I hallucinating?

The only real problem I have is that I can't see any board that has a Matrix theme. Green on Black doesn't work well.

Other than that, I love the Star Trek and stuff banners.

Well all I have to say is that this is a really weak joke. I mean come on all they did was change the banners and make it hard to read the YJCC with the black on green.

 

I rather like it.

Especially the way my bio looks now.

I will admit however, that 'Choose A board' is a problem, 'cos all my favourites(Comms, Welcome New Users, Amphitheatre, YJCC etc) are dark grey on black. Yellow would've been better.

Other than that, I love that Matrix theme.

Are you responsible for the Comms banner UKS ? If so, then congrats, its great, and shows that you must have done your fair share of acid at university.

Why George is there I have no idea, but I'm impressed you stayed true to the original Rainbow and ensured that George only had one arm.

 

I did it ages ago for the JCC contest. It took about ten minutes, all in all, and most of that was spent getting the Death Star into George's hand.

Basil Brush with Lightsabre was done by someone for the FFUK Icon contest, but for the life of me, I can't remember who it was.

I have to say that the April 1rst joke is kind of weak this year. Although the Games and Comms Banners are excellent.

I love April Fools day!

 

April Fools this year isn't going to be about playing silly jokes that people will see through in moments and people will complain about lame it was. It's just going to be the Mod Squad having fun with our powers. Same effect in the end, but more fun for us.
