There are no safe or even relatively safe picks.

 

Definitely, no game is safe.

I'm not sure if it will matter, but if our lowest score gets dropped then everyone will probabley end up dropping this week regardless of how well you do because this week is the only week that has 3 teams on a bye so compared to a "normal" bye week when 105 pts are available this week only 91 were possible.

 

Juli who made no picks in weeks 1 or 2 will have a ZERO dropped.

 

I can't imagine I did very well this week.

I should come up with a forecasting equation based on recent history of who beat who and try that. It has to be better than going with the norm.

Edit: Forgot to specify above, that I'm going to do the opposite of what the forecast says.

 

I think I'm just going to start giving the games I think are locks a "1" in confidence points and the games I think are toss-ups a "15" (or whatever for the week). Might work out better.

I never thought the strategy "bet against the Chiefs" would fail me. And, with Matt Millen fired, I'm not sure "bet against the Lions" is great, either.

 

matt may be gone, but the mess is still there this year. if they face someone like the chiefs, that's when you give it like a one. i have no clue who would win that.

also, bet against the bengals. seems a good rule of thumb for now.

SO SO week.

 

I had a pretty good week this week. I only lost the GB, SD, and Phil games so far.

 

Ive only lost the Green Bay and Arizona game so far. Picked Minnesota tonight too.

 

This contest just officially hates me, I think.
