Anyone notice those little yellow blobs around spaceships that you can see on the DVD?

That is really poor for them not to have fixed that.. but anyway.

Perhaps the contrast on my monitor is just up too much, but still I should never see that right?

i figure it's becuase they used rough "cut outs" of the film the ship was on.

yellow because it's what happens after the 'blue' is washed away?

TLJ Edit: Covered in one or two other threads already.

I too saw this and was able to fix it by making (i think it was the brightness) lower...just put pause on one of those scenes and darken it up till you can't see them no more :)

It happens on my tv too, I shouldn't have to adjust my brightness to make the film look good

well too bad because that is what you do....

what if your tv was adjusted to black and white?? would you not have to adjust it to see in color?

Duh, Just adjust your TV. Don't you know anything?

First do 11 jumping jacks that shakes the TV and adjust the center picture.

Next dim the lights and make sure you have green walls. If not get some paint and paint your living room green. Green reflects off the screen and you notice the floating boxes less.

Next put some saran wrap over the front of your TV screen, that slightly blurs the image and helps adjust the light sabers

There's a 38 page explanation on one of the threads here on what you have to do to prepare to watch the OT on DVD.

Eeeh! wrong answer, you do that and not only does not fix the mattlines. You lose detail on Vader's costume and various other object's on screen, try again.
