Bump!.. It's almost that time of year again.

 

I nominate anyone but me. Great time to be a Star Wars fan.

 

To eliminate the suspense of "Will he or won't he?", I will humbly offer to continue my services as Treasurer for the coming year.

 

We talked at the meeting and nominations are now open until November 27, I believe. Voting will be November 28 through December 14 with a live, in-person vote at the December meeting on 12/3.

We'll basically only vote for any contested positions.

thebreadnappa has chosen not to run for co-CR in 2017 so that position will be vacant and open for nominations.
I believe he-guy is running for CR again, is that right?

I am way behind with the holiday...etc... I am not sure yet if I accept. I do see today is the 28th eek! I will confirm tomorrow, but I am definitely down for helping making 2017 another awesome RMFF year!

 

You've done a great job throughout the year, so hopefully you can help in 2017!
If you need to find a co-secretarian, there's precedent for that.

 

Alright, I am going to be honest with you guys. Looking ahead into the coming year, I do still plan to be part of and help the group; however I do not feel confident that I can keep up with what is required. I also volunteer with a couple other groups not Star-Wars related. I am looking to scale back, but I also have to free up more time to pursue my professional goals. Perhaps we can discuss at the meeting on the 3rd?

 

Hmm.. we may be going to Co-Secretarians-by-Committee?..

Secretarian - At the meeting we mostly agreed that this position's duties will be spread amongst several people, such as AuttyBot, FanForced, corran_r9, and others.

So, the only position necessitating voting is co-CR. We voted at the meeting and, so far, it is a tie! So, every vote counts...and only vote once, please.

Results will be announced at the Rogue One premiere, if convenient/appropriate, or very soon thereafter.
