Yet Another...BANNER!!! (The Collecting Forum Banner Discussion Thread)

Well people, you've probably noticed that we have a new banner on our hands. All I have to say, is that the Admins. must be going though a crisis. The have benn a lot of revamps the last couple months:

1. Regular White
2. The Sith Council
3. Regular White Again
4. Yellow
5. This
6. And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't YJCC get a new revamp.

I mean, there all pretty good and all, but when will it all end, when will we get one or awhile (over a year). But anyway, I like this one, out of the 2. But I really liked the other two. Awell, what do you guys think?

I know Jango is backwards, but that's the only way it would work for the banner. Technically, it's canon for Jango/Boba's antenna to be on both sides of his helmet thanks to ROTJ.

 

Kadue is working on a background color scheme for the board, so that should be changed soon. He is going to give us a color scheme that is a better match for our banner.

 

When I first saw the topic title I thought we got another mod here in Collecting!



Congrats to the banner contest winner, it looks great! I can't wait to see what Kadue comes up with for us colour wise!

Somehow I don`t like it too much.
Looks cheap. I do like the fact that the 12-inch Obi Wan is included ´cause his likeness is great.
I would have liked a ESB colour sheme:
White, orange and violet.

I think it looks pretty good too, but i say if you didn't enter the contest, you really shouldn't be allowed to complain about it.

 

I don't see how you can complain about it...I mean, it looks really cool, and is 10 times better than anything I could hope to come up with. (well, maybe that there is no vader in there...heh.)

Well Padme couldn't make it unfortunately. However, if you reply to a post there is a special "reply graphic" which shows a Yoda figure and a bunch more Jedi figures.
