Yeah, you get some of the lighting tech questions...but I own a thermometer that also tells humidity...so HA!!!

 

and a true test to geek-iness...you guys put up the full percentage....I just rounded mine off....

i think it was all the computer language questions that put me over the edge. i know every one that was mentioned.

You know how I am always joking about being the fat, loner kid at school that no one liked and everyone mocked? Yeah, that was true. It doesn't help that I watch WAY too much TV. Of course, the movie section alone should put any one of us on the map.

 

I'm still a little suspicious of the whole test. It seems heavily geared toward programmers and gamers, while other geek subjects (SW, Trek, Simpsons, library worms) get only cursory mentions here and there.

I would've thought that a person with six different geek-related tattoos (comics, SW, Simpsons, Chuck Jones, paleontology, fantasy fiction) could come out with a score higher than 49%.

sigh. I guess I'm not the geek I thought I was. Oh, well. Back to my JFK conspiracy thesis...

For me, I think it was the computers and movies that put me over the edge, although yes, I have read dictionaries and technical manuals for fun.

Everyone put a check in "Lied heavily to improve your score on this test", right? Right?

 

37% Major Geek and yes I checked the "lied heavily" box...but I really didn't lie...honest...I'm a geek...I swear.

For a long, long, long time,(think old boards) I've been working on my own little fan force geek test. Nothing fancy, you have to come up with your own score. I guess I should work hard on this and have some beta testing, huh?

I beat out the Goat, but fell short of Destiny and the Penguin. If I knew more about computer languages, I'd rank much higher on the geek scale...

 

Strange, I know absolutely nothing about computer laguages, I didn't click the "lie" box to boost up my score, and I'm neither a gamer or female. Under those circumstances, perhaps my score isn't so bad.
