Yet another question about the pre- Mace vs Palps confrontation scene......

Hey, once again, I have another question about the little chat before the Mace vs Palps duel.....

What are the lines spoken between Mace and Palps before Palps kills the three other Jedi and Mace fights Palps? I have forgotten, and I need them for my fic.....

MW: In the name of the Galactic Senate of the Republic, you are under arrest Chancellor.
P: Are you threatening me, Master Jedi?
MW: The Senate will decide your fate
P: I am the Senate!
MW: Not yet.

Palpy lets loose the saber

P: It's treason then.

Cue feeble attempts by Jedi to stop old man struggling with physical scenes.

 

They go something like this:

(Mace and Co. enters office. Palps turns chair around)

Palps: Master Windu. I take it General Grievous has been destroyed? I must say, you're here earlier than expected.

Mace: In the name of the Galactic Senate of the Republic, (Mace and Co. ignite lightsabers) you're under arrest, Chancellor.

Palps: Are you threatening me, Master Jedi?

Mace: The Senate will decide your fate.

Palps: (Sidiousy voice) I AM the Senate!

Mace: Not yet.

(Palps stands up and Force-pulls his lightsaber from his right sleeve)

Palps: It's treason then.

There ya go.

ROTS script

While there a few differences between the script and the final movie version by-in-large its the same.

 

That's not the real script, though. I think I remember people talking about how that was nothing 'real' at all, just a fan taking the spoiler info that was out at the time and pasting it together. So I would be careful about using that... Try the novel. But I think Cherry got it.

Look in the community forum then go to the line by line. Thats what I use when I wzant to look that stuff up.
