Niagara, ON YJN Club Motto

Hey, I was disussing with Chris about getting a club motto. I was just looking for a one line motto about YJN just about the club, something catchy to put on the website, FanForce banner, business cards, etc. Please post your ideas here.

How about "A Force in our community"???

Would something like "Using the Force for good" be alright? The "Force in your community" thing sounds good, John.

 

Will this be for our cheerleaders by any chance? Wheres Mitch???

 

John's idea is good because it combines the elements of Star Wars with the local community....plus we have used this before (Grape and Wine Parade....announcement from the Reviewing Stand)

Since the "Force" can be used both for good and bad purposes....it might be a good idea to stick an adjective that indicates good, in front of the word Force

A _________ Force in our Community

Think of something to put in the blank , like Positive, or Valuable or Helpful etc.

This is much like Nick's idea....but the way his is worded, it just sounds a bit religious...and that might be misunderstood in the community.

I don't like the "Force in our community" thing. I don't know why. Maybe it's just 'cause I like to complain. Or maybe it's because we're the fatest city, and it makes it sound like we're just one big flabby part of it. I don't know, it's probably just me. Yeah, that's most likely to be it.

Anyway, my idea is "Live long and prosper". Oh wait, that one's taken...

Hmm...

What about "Changing the galaxy one region at a time"?

One region at a time? We're only in one region. There's nothing wrong with being a Force in the community. It's a little play on words, not calling us fat or whatever you said.

 

I didn't say... ah never mind.

Anyway, if you happened to look at the bottom, I said it was junk. Basically, that post was to say I had no ideas.

 

I really got nothing, but then again, I've been pretty blocked for ideas for writing **** for a few days now... When I think of something I'll write it down, and post it... Until then, I have nothing more to say
