Yo Joe! SF*2009 Group Costume Planning Thread

GI Joe would be very cool but I think we are getting a little carried away, it being 364 days from StarFest '09.

That being said, my first choice for a costume would be Bazooka. If not that than maybe Mutt or Dr. Mindbender. Someone who has a stylin' 'stache like mine.

You cold do a woman Cobra trooper. I saw pictures on the net of people doing that.

 

i could if i don't eat for the rest of the year. he he actually like the black one...i could do that...

 

there are like 4 or 5 different female cobra shock troopers

I don't think anyone has called bagsies on either Jinx or Pythona yet according to the list


and I will pick soon, I know I got like 3 listed


If you go through all the years of toys they released (Which Zoo linked to above) there are more female characters that haven't been "called" yet and they all have descriptions of clothing and toys

ETA: Removed Sparta, found out she was just a Japanese figure variant of Cover Girl. And removed the tag about Mistress Armada, however, she was part of the Destro Clan, so I'm still looking for confirmation from the Surfer Dude.

Have we decided on what era? With some of the female characters, just looking them up they seem to be either only in the comic books or something from the 90's or more recently...

I'm game for whatever, I've found half a dozen 'versions' of Zarana that I can work with.

 

If she is w/ Destro, then that's Baroness - they are a couple I'm guessing. Have been reading too much about GI Joe & not enough payroll processing.

Honestly, unless there's some massive hissy fit about one character being another in the timeline... I say we just wing it. Anyone have any objections?
