    I saw it, wasn't too impressed. Somehow it felt wrong to hear him speak so modern. It was fun thing though, and it looked quite good too.

    Promise myself cry I would not :D

    I actually preferred it to Gollums purely because it didn't just recycle most of the lines from the film but Gollum was still classic

    I find it hilarious that out of all the actors who went up on stage trying to be funny it was the 2 which weren't really there which upstaged them all [But Eminems jibe about Mariah was funny!]

    Strange as star wars fan slating yoda on a fan's site - never thought I?d see the day, oh well its got swearing it must be better.... (for a cheap laugh)

    The yoda one was done in much better taste and in keeping with caricature!

    Yoda = Legend

    Full stop.

    That he may be, and this is indeed a message board forum linked to a major SW fan site but we still have our own opinions. We don't all think that the sun shines out of GL's exhaust port.... :D

    In my opinion, dropping celebrity names at random is going for a cheap laugh (queen latifah anyone?). Making yoda speak in a "modern" way is also unoriginal and unfunny.
