Yoda Confusion..

How come in ESB Yoda tells Luke if he leaves then his training will not be complete...but then when Luke comes back Yoda says his training is complete?

 

A bit of confusion on Lucas' part due to the change in story, more like.

 

Probably due to things that Skywalker learned while he was away. He finally understood the power of Vader, learned he wasn't invincible, carried on the studies on his own and even rescued his friend from a crime lord for his first "Jedi" act.

 

Kind of strange how Luke was just barely levitating rocks and all of a sudden he learns Jedi mind control and other force powers when he goes to rescue Han.

How about why is Yoda so damn serious in the PT, but in the OT he is this goofy muppet? My only guess is that he ate too many deathsticks and went a little wacko being alone out there on Dagohbah.

Guys, and gals remember that they arn't going to show everything that happens between events on screen. If that were the case it would take you weeks or even months to finish seeing the movie.

 

well how long was it from esb to rotj
did he even have enough time to learn anything or was it a longer period then i thought

 

i'm with errant(sorry if spelled wrong) things he learned while he was gone, not tomention shadows of the empire happened esb and begining of ROTJ? proboply talked to obi wan a bit. plus other stuff
