Yoda Costume for a 5yr old?

I was hoping someone would be able to help me find what I need to make a Yoda costume for my 5yr old. My son wants desperately to dress like him for halloween.(He's watching Empire as I type this) My other son will be Vadar, and I'll be Leia (My daughter, who's ten, thinks we're all just the silliest things since teletubbies. ha ha )

Is there a simplicity pattern I could use for the tunic? I've searched for tan robes and come up with nothing. All I've got so far is the brown fabric. I can't afford the mask, so we were going to paint his head green is all, maybe color his hair green (that green hair spray stuff) and fasion some ears with paper mache.

It's the robe and tunic that I'm getting stuck on. Thanks ahead of time for any help. May the Force be with you.
