In the latest trailer, Yoda says something like "Many possible futures there are".

Is it possible that Lucas is so interested in TCW that he's going to do an Infinities on the Clone Wars and Revenge of the Sith?

Are they hinting that TCW takes place in some extremely similar but different SW parallel universe?

 

No. I believe it's just a way for Ahsoka to have visions of things that never come to pass. Like maybe Aurra killing her, but in the end Ahsoka survives her attacks.

That's... pretty far from what he actually says...

The fact that season 3 is suppose to lay the ground work for how the Jedi fall in ROTS kind of rules out a parallel universe or some type of infinitie series IMO.

No. What he says is that this season will explore the many layers of what is happening during the Clone Wars. It has nothing to do with the "many possible futures".

 

Just listen to the first preview.
