In the latest trailer, Yoda says something like "Many possible futures there are".

Is it possible that Lucas is so interested in TCW that he's going to do an Infinities on the Clone Wars and Revenge of the Sith?

Are they hinting that TCW takes place in some extremely similar but different SW parallel universe?

No. I believe it's just a way for Ahsoka to have visions of things that never come to pass. Like maybe Aurra killing her, but in the end Ahsoka survives her attacks.

Thanks to this quote, I don't think so.

"Dooku's an interesting character to have because he's part of a massive deception going on. And we get into explaining that deception in Season 3 on multiple levels. Levels you need to understand how the Jedi fall -- they fall politically, they fall emotionally, they lose their ethics in fighting this war. You need to understand all those things. It's all in Revenge of the Sith -- it's just that now George is taking the time through his series to explain it in a lot more detail so that you'll see all the elements of the fall spread out over a greater period of time."-Filoni

Yoda has just subscribed to the many-worlds theory of quantum mechanics and is giving the ultimate (although veiled) legitimization of what-if fanfiction :D

What? That has nothing to do with what Yoda says.

Okay, this is what he says:
"Preminations. Undermestimate them you must not. Always emotiton is the future, and many possible futures there are."

Premonitions. Underestimate them, you must not. Always in motion is the future, and many possible futures there are.

That's... pretty far from what he actually says...

EDIT: At least not what you wrote at first... good job with the Edit button. It's your friend.

The fact that season 3 is suppose to lay the ground work for how the Jedi fall in ROTS kind of rules out a parallel universe or some type of infinitie series IMO.

Edit: Should have been more clear.:p

How on earth do you get this from that?!

No. What he says is that this season will explore the many layers of what is happening during the Clone Wars. It has nothing to do with the "many possible futures".

Garth, I think you are just reaching for a possibility to save canon from the steamroller. I wish your theory was true, but I doubt it will ever come to that.

Yoda just means if you let your emotions get in the way, it could affect the future.

    IN MOTION, not EMOTION.

Even though what you said makes sense.

This actually makes more sense, and is related to what Yoda actually says:

    This is the conversation:

    "Troubled you are, Padawan?"-Yoda

"Yes, Master Yoda. I've been having dreams. They're so... real-" Ahsoka

"Preminitons. Undermestimate them, you must not. Always in motion is the future, and many possible futures there are." Yoda

    Actually, he says:
"Premonitions. Telling you something. Underestimate them, you must not. Always in motion (not emotion, it doesn't even make sense) is the future, and many possible futures there are."

I think we can now close the case on what exactly did Yoda say?

    Great meeting!

Session end. Case closed. We know the saying, what it means, and where did he say it.
