yoda or qui gon?

in the empire strikes back yoda tells obi wan that luke is full of anger
" much anger in him...like his father" and then obiwan says " was i any differant when YOU taught me?"
WHAT?! yoda didnt teach obi wan... qui gon did.
so whats goin on there?

 

Yoda teaches all young Jedi before they go on with a master. As seen in AOTC. Something that Anakin missed.


I think that is just something George created later to be able to put Qui-gon into the history.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't seem to recall turning 13 and suddenly developing a strange new emotion called anger.
