    Since we don't know much about the power of the Jedi in the ancient days, it's hard to say.

    I would want to say Luke is the most powerful Jedi, but that's just personel opinion. Yoda may very well be one of the most wise ever though, and you can say he was one of the most powerful Jedi ever, but I can't say he's the most wise and/or powerful ever.

    Your personal opinion is also the canon one. Luke as of 40-odd years after Yavin in the EU is doing things with the Force Yoda, Mace Windu, and his dad never even dreamed about doing.
