Yeah, if he could do that, you'd think he would have done it when he saw those same ships landing on Kashyyyk.

    Thanks. :)

Figuring that all out only took a few minutes.;)
I guess I always wondered how many miles a Standard parsec in the GFFA was.:-B

Or it could be that Han was talking out his ass about how fast the Falcon was, not knowing that Obi-wan knows more about piloting. Hence his smirk.

You two were talking about the parsec. I mentioned that there was no need for a mathmatical satistic, since Han's bragging, thinking that he's dealing with a couple of dopes.

    Gotit.

    Wait!
You mean to tell me that you never once wondered how far/long a parcec was?
    :p

I just wish the next NASA mission used the term. That would be some wild sh## ... even if it was some random geek spokesman who uttered it once - with a straight face and just kept going with a briefing.

The only problem with that being the fact that humans will not be able to travel the distance of a parsec for a very, very, very long time ( if at all ).

I was thinking more like "point 05 parsecs" or some other amusing quip.

That would be funny to us, but to get to that sort of number/percentage would be mind-boggling for the average dimwit. We're talking 19-TRILLion miles here, that's trillion with a "Tee-Ahr" in front of the "illion"...

Fenn is right, a Parcec is forever out of our reach.
