FF:QLD Yoda's World Tour

Yoda is in England!!

I am leaving for New Zealand tomorrow, so please direct ALL questions to Master-Kenobi until I get back.

Also, on the issue of The logbook:

A binder is being sent around with Yoda to help record his journeys. Each group will be allowed ONE PAGE to fill up/decorate to your hearts' desires. We ask that only one picture be put on it, as the rest can be uploaded to the website (which is going through SERIOUS technical difficulties at the moment and may not be up as soon as we'd like).

A sample page can be seen HERE.

You will have a place to put a picture, a small tag to indicate the date and other information, a small pocket to hold things, and a space at the bottom to describe his adventure.

We ask that each group PLEASE only uses one page, as we only have enough for one page per group. Also, please do not include any plants or food on the page, since we don't want customs confiscating the book and breathing down our neck about it.

His travels have begun.

I was thinking that myself! If the itinery above is followed, my guess would be October or November.

 

Best to start planning something for him to do soon.

 

Yoda is still in England, so it may take a little while before we get him. The website www.travelswithyoda.com isn't up yet, but the original thread has his whereabouts documented.

We may not get him until November or December at this rate.

 

It could be "New Years' 06 party with Yoda" at the current rate.

 

Sadly, Yoda is lost in London. We're doing our best to recover him, but right now it's in the hands of the Force (and the London fanforce).

Everything's been put on hold until we find Yoda. So, hopefully, we can find him soon, HOPEFULLY the darn website will get fixed, and then we can resume the tour.

 

I know someone in London perhaps they can glean some light on his where abouts

Maybe he found a Tardis and is travelling back to a long, long time ago in a another Galaxy far, far away...

 

Nah, 90% of the time the tardis would end up on earth, often in the same place at the same time.

Was easier than developing all of the ancillary characters every episode.

 

Be that as it may, you cannot discount the possibility. Not any further anyway, I don't think we could sell it for any less.

 

Yoda was found and the tour should begin again shortly.

He met up with an old student in a franchise bar in Antwerp, from there he and this 'former student' went on a bender through the lesser european destinations, skirting polite society,occassionally force-throwing postcards from landmarks at tourists and indulging in fetish bars, before succumbing to the wiles of a bearded midget woman in a turkish bathhouse and opium den.

After several weeks in the heavily perfumed, oxygen poor interior of the den he woke to find all his money - and his former student - gone. He was briefly spyed dancing atop a burning car in central Paris before fleeing on the eurostar, through the chunnel to the relative safety of the UK.

From whence he will now continue his travels in a manner more fitting of a jedi master*





*a jedi master that is not Master Kenobi, of course.

He didn't end up in an electrical transformer did he?

That would cause a great inbalance in the force, in the greater paris area.

 

Not that I heard, but he did max out his duty free allowance on top shelf congnac to soothe his vocal chords, which he alledgedly strained screaming various songs by 'the bloodhound gang' as he tore around the forecourt at Notre Dame.
