I got 2 of the ROTS card tins at TRU. Those are pretty cool.

 

I went a little crazy today:

I picked the following up on April 2nd:

Picked up the 3 new unleashed, Darth Tater, Vader Force Battler, and a repackage of the Vader Electronic Bank.

 

Just got back from TRU; did well, but not as I expected to:

1) ARC-170
2) Holo Yoda
3) Obi Unleashed
4) Teaser poster

 

Just got back from a nice little run.

Finally saw some figures over 32 at Wal-Mart, just a few...but at least it's something. Picked up two Clone Commanders, one Clone Pilot (only one they had), and one "Exploding" Grievous there.

After that I went on to TRU for a Holo Yoda. Picked him up and bought him outright...they still had some ARC-170's so if I had been a little patient and not bought it a few days ago I would've gotten him for free. Such is life.

Chatted with some fellow collectors who were also there when TRU opened the doors...I love the period around a movie, when checking the pegs isn't the solitary activity it is most of the time. It's nice to realize that you are not alone.

 

went to tru today to get Star Wars Stratego, and to my suprise they had put 30+ Holo Yodas on the rack with all the other figs. So I bring two up to the register and the scan as $9.99 (what it's supposed to be) but I said "Ummm that was on a rack priced at $5.29, they all are" so the cashier calls the manager over, and actually changes the price to $5.29 for me! woohoo! I basically got a 2 for 1 deal on em.

Well thats my day!

So today I woke up early to get Anakin and Obi-wan Unleashed and pick up another holo Yoda for free this time. Well of course they are all sold out by now and when the doors open theres about 11 angry collectors storming around the store looking for the manager. Well the manager finally came out of the back with only five Yodas, and I got one.

One angry collector who didn't get one threw a force battler at the manager, and was promptly removed from the store.

so in the end I got two Unleashed figs, a second holo Yoda, and a good chuckle

 

I bought the Darth Vader voice changer at TRU and got the Holo Yoda free.

 

Went to TRU and got the ARC 170 today and the free yoda. Now my Clone Pilot has a purpose in life besides shoting a missile out of a tower. I hope they come out with ARC 170 gunners that look different from the pilot. I really don't want to put three piolts in the ship.

Went to Kohl's and got Mas Amedda and a Clone Pilot. Then I went to TRU and picked up a Yoda w/firing cannon, Obi-Wan w/slashing lightsaber attack, and an AT-RT w/ driver. Also got my free Holographic Yoda for handing over my hard-earned money.

then @ kohls i got at-te gunner and RED saber palp.

 

In order to get my lightsider-scum Holo Yoda , I picked these up at TRU this morning:

--12" Palpatine
--Deluxe Palpatine/Sidious

The 12" Palps is my 2nd now, and will go great on my work desk. I held off on getting the Deluxe Palpatine, knowing it would come in handy for this very occasion today. It will make a fine addition to the "Wall of McDiarmid"....at least when I put my collection room back together.

Hi all, been away due to computer trouble.
I am slowly but surely collecting the ROTS figures, vehicles ect. I also loaded the M&M wallpapers! anyway, good to be back!

 

I got Vader's Medical Droid, AT-TE Tank Gunner, Polis Massan and Mas Amedda from a friend who grabbed them at Target today, as well as a Holo Yoda.

 

Today was a good day.

that link seems to go to the OTC version. the ROTS version is the same except it has a wookiee rifle instead of a bowcaster. i bought the OTC one, so there's no way i'll buy the ROTS version.

 

Thanks for the link. I'm not real big on the 12" figures but I was curious to see what it looked like.

 

I bought a second ROTS Aayla to keep on the card. I love the character, but I don't love the figure. I've never had so much trouble finding a good paint job on a certain figure.
