San Diego, CA You Have Your Titles!

The officers of the club all have their titles now thanks to Obey Wann. Let me know if they are to your satisfaction.

Animaster, let me know if yours is okay. Obey Wann put SDSWS VIP on yours instead of Founding Member. Is it okay as it is, or would you prefer Founding member? Apparently there was a cap on the number of letters they could use in your titles.

Whatever the Supreme Chancellor decides. Anyways, this is a test.

^ Unfortunately not everyone can have titles. Titles can be thought of as a "service reward." The following 8 people below are the people I have requested titles for. San Diego has more titles than any other FanForce city. Usually titles are only granted to the main officers, which would be myself, JediG60Racer, and GreyJedi. Yet I explained that the SDSWS would not be in existance if it weren't for the efforts of the following 8 people, and that their efforts needed to be recognized as well.

Simply being a founding member was not enough to warrant a title. Several founding members do not have titles because they haven't attended the meetings, haven't posted as much on the boards, haven't participated in events etc. In time, through service to the club, and active participation on the forums, and at events, new people can be recognized as well.

hey i didn't say that i was unhappy... it gives me some sort of mystique... he's a vip, but what does he do? maybe we should take pictures of him, or ask for his autograph.

Naw, I just have a big head.

 

Another reason for the titles is that when you post on other fanforce boards or Jedi Council boards people WILL be curious about your titles, and ask about them. That gives you a chance to promote the SDSWS and FanForce in general. Believe it or not, a lot of people who post on the JC boards don't even know anything about FanForce.

So go forth and post on lots of forums!
