You know SW has become a distant memory when.......

You can't even remember the simpilest of lines to the OT. Today, I left a message for my buddy on his phone asking for tech-support on my camera. Thinking I was going to be funny I said, "help me obiwan. uh, help." It took me 10 minutes to remember the damn line. "help me obiwan, your my only hope."

I've been a SW fan for 30 years having seen all 6 movies in their original premieres at the theater. How could I have forgotten that line, considering I've seen ANH hundreds of times and its my favorite movie to boot?

 

Sounds more like "You know you're old when..."

 

I just love how the boards are so supportive.

It happens from time to time...just another excuse to watch the movies over again, IMO.

I keep forgeting them as well. I used to be really good with OT and EU knowledge, however, lately, my knowledge has been lacking. *Heaves a sigh*

I couldn't remember the lines word for word anyways so I'm not worried

 

i try not to watch them too often so that way its a treat,i keep it to ounce every two months or so but if your forgeting the lines then you NEED to have a marathon. make it fun invite all your friends over and have a marathon,thats what i do
