YKYAFFWW, whenever you go to a [FILL IN PLACE HERE], you are reminded of the time you wrote about a [FILL IN PLACE HERE] in one of your fanfics. (In my case it was the farmer's market.)

An airport in Germany. A specific one.

I have not even been to the airport I shamelessly borrowed for one of my fics. I passed by it, but...it wasn't an airport back then, regardless of how much they whitewashed it.

Or you get an idea for a fic set in [FILL IN PLACE HERE].

What is the mechanism behind setting a blaster to stun? Is there a lever of sorts?

Seems to be either a button or switch located close to the grip of the blaster, at least on pistols. The Hutt Gambit has Han thumbing his blaster to stun.

At least that's how I've always interpreted it.

I thought it was a little rounded switch with two settings - stun and regular power. Right beside the trigger, but far enough away it wouldn't accidentally be flicked on or off.
    Edit: that's head canon though.

So, if somebody had particularly large thumbs, would they be able to get it wrong?

I think it depends on the model of the blaster.

Any idea on which ones are accident-prone and if the Imperials on Endor would be likely to use them?

Also calling Iron_lord juuuust in case.

Well, standard Imperial armament would be the E-11 blaster rifle (kitbashed from a Sterling sub-machine gun). Here's an image of the Sterling's mode select and I would imagine that an E-11 would either replace the Safety setting with stun or add another one. I can easily see a character with large thumbs fumbling around and getting it wrong.

    Thank you!

Also, I asked this in the wrong thread. I was sure I was in the Fanfic Desk one. O_O

^I've done that a few times.

YKYAFFWW... you are dreading the ending of a fic. You know what you gotta do, but you have still thought up a bunch of ways to avoid this ending. But in the end, you know you have to do the heartless deed, because anything else would cheapen the fic.

Sometimes, you just gotta let Palpy Muse win :emperor:

When you come up with Star Wars names for Earth Hair Styles. I named twin French Braids: Lekku Braids and high Pig Tails: Gungun Ears; at least that's what they're called on Naboo.

I also named the infamous cinnamon buns Blossom Whorls seeing that's almost their name on Earth. They're called Squash Blossom Whorls or something similar.

You sure mean Gungan and not Gungun?

This would make an awesome fanon post, with pictures and all. Do it, do it, do it. :)

...you've ever looked at pictures and/or models of real-life aircraft, from fully-realized types to concept and design sketches, and wondered how you can turn them into the core of some sort of starfighter design.

Bonus points if you've ever done the same for ships and other aquatic craft.

When you get well into a fic before you remember crucially important character information - in this case, that Jacen Solo only has one arm [face_plain]

Was it not Tenel Ka who only had one arm?

Jaina cut Jacen's arm off midway through Invincible. I haven't read LOTF in years, I'd completely forgotten. It's weird, you'd think it'd be a bigger 'deal' in the fandom, I've never even seen it come up.

Don't feel bad. I didn't even remember that. Did he get a prosthetic arm? If so, it is easy to forget. Tenel Ka's refusal to get a cybernetic arm made it hard to forget.

    LOTF Spoilers just in case:
Probably because he dies about 150 pages later.
