Ah yes, I saw that T2 a while ago.
Dad and I were plotting replacing our christmas tree with it and wrapping it in tinsel instead. Unfortunately I'm only a lowly public servant and he's unemployed, so neither of us have the funds for it :p

Cool as it is, I can think of better things to spend 10 grand on...

A new computer, for instance, or savings for a car, or house - a expensive collectable even - or whatever... I suppose for me it is one of those things that is nice to look at, but that I would never own. The x-mas tree idea is intriguing though...

Indeed. I want to be rich enough that I don't care and it doesn't matter if I blow 10 grand on some silly nerd-collectable. :p

Ok, maybe, just maybe, if I had money to burn - multi-millionaire type - that T2 mondel would become my x-mas tree.

I noticed the TR model awhile ago too, I think I've seen another someplace else, but can't remember where. Personally, I just couldn't bring myself to spend that kinda of money, 10k is a little steep. That $900 Clone Wars Yoda on the other hand. Oh how I love to rub the little green guys head for good luck.

Like most of you have said, if you had the money, and were really into t2 you would buy it without batting an eyelid. For me it would be the attakus metal Millennium Falcon. Got 2700usd, got gross weight of 215lbs [face_worried] !

I know, I know, I'm a freak. [face_blush] But I just can't seem to walk passed without doing it. He must have some kind of power over me. I think I'll have to start a new thread...

    YKYF?

When you can't walk past clone wars yoda without rubbing his head for luck.

We shall see... in 3 sleeps! [face_worried]
(Unless you nap like a pre-schooler, then it's possibly 6 sleeps.)

    YKYAGW...

You enter a room of maze-like cubicles, and are instantly reminded of Wolfenstein for some reason... [face_thinking]

Oh yeah, I remember that screensaver. [face_thinking] I used to sit and watch until the damn mouse got to the smiley face at the end of the maze...

Buuuut Wolfenstein is more fun. And has music I can hum to myself. [face_mischief]

Whilst working through "Babylon 5" with your dad, you manage to convert your mum and your nanna as well!

Well, the presence of Marcus Cole helped in my mum's case :p

    Be seeing you,

    Teehee.

I need to level my reading skill... It's gone down a few points from disuse... [face_thinking]

YKYAGW you make a point of it when you're on the train to try and teleport to your intended destination...

    YKYAGW:

You want to build a 3rd computer so you can network them together and give them the hostnames Casper, Balthazar and Melchior.

5 points to the first person to get that reference.

I could take a guess here but I think I'd be way off base. No actually I know I'd be way off base, since I've no doubt that the reference is probably particularly geeky.

Just so you know though, and I'd have to check with morgs on this one because I'm not 100% sure (RE was never my best subject, it was kinda boring), those names were the names of the magi in the bible.
