    YKYAGW...

You see a numberplate with 'HTT' on it, and ponder writing a 'P' on it.

I saw an "HKT" (number plate) this morning, and wondered if it was the new improved model...

When guys you meet remind you of characters from your favourite (which is to say technically sci-fi) TV shows.

The instructor from our FEA course was an Indian guy who reminded me very much of Mohinder(sp?).
I spent 3 days just waiting for him to go off on some weird and wonderful (genetics oriented) tangent.
I was sadly disappointed... but then you can't expect much from engineers anyway...

-when you're just doing normal shopping and you think....hmm that'd look good on my lightsabre.

-and when you're in a tattoo place and you're disappointed they don't have star wars tattoos just on the walls with the other examples!

You use a Yoda mascott as a good luck charm in a Poker Tourney.

... you see a red headed schoolgirl skip past you on the footpath, you turn to say something to your mate, then turn back and see the same red headed schoolgirl skip past you, and your immediate reaction is: "Woah...Deja vu!"

    Turned out it was twins.

    Be seeing you,

You pilfer a nice new red Nicko with which to scribble on stuff to send back to the Mail room, and have the irresistable urge to hold it aloft and exclaim, "By the power of Greyskull!"

    I have the power! ~scribblescribblescribble...~

    Urge:
    Noun 2.
    a) An impulse that prompts action or effort: suppressed an urge to laugh.
    b) An involuntary tendency to perform a given activity; an instinct: "There is a human urge to clarify, rationalize, justify" (Leonard Bernstein).

    :p

..you realise taht your afternoon has consisted of seeing an old friend, burning a BACK_UP copy of Bladerunner, and cutting out a Jedi Robe.

Not so bad I know, but it reminds me on occasion that once a geek, always a geek.

After finally working in a place that plays commercial radio (as opposed to company-compiled easy listening stuff), I understand how people get annoyed by hearing the same songs. Not on the same day, but every day. So I've heard this Timberlake song. A lot. And a lot of stuff I never want to hear again.
To me that song's chirpy backing vocals is more chipmunk...

When your whole work desk is cluttered with an array of 12 Inch Star War's Dolls, Ships, Figures and other merchandise.

I have managed to squeeze an AT-AT!, 4 12 inch dolls (including Leia!) and about 20 figures and other merch onto my work desk![face_skull]
