    YKYAGW:

You scamp gleefully back to your desk after having gone and written such geeky lines on all the whiteboards you could find in your office as, "WWBD: What Would Batman Do?" without being caught and reprimanded.

    I feel mischievious. [face_mischief]

You instantly recognise "Black Books" Plushies!

Love the time machine gag. And yes Duchess, apparently sewing instructions are available...

    Be seeing you,

Certainly, when I've worked out the pattern :p

    Anywho :p

YKYAG the day you wake up and realise that you know the entire spiel of vogon poetry.

what's worse is when you are actually disappointed the day you can't remember some of it.

I liked Magnus's reaction when you actually tried to recite it. That was terribly dangerous. All the exits were barred, someone could have been hurt.

Yes, I suppose Vogon poetry is more reserved for shouting drunkenly at 3am wandering the streets... [face_thinking] Moreso, when one is too drunk to care. Conversely in such an inebriated state it is possible that one would be more easily provoked to a furore at hearing the words, "Oh freddled gruntbuggly, thy mictorations are to me...."

    :p

At any rate, I'll make a note to be more careful before I start quoting vogon poetry. Of course, it could have been worse - I might have been quoting Grunthos the Flatulent or Paula Nancy Millstone Jennings... :p

    ...

Yeah, sorry, exhaustion is making me say/do weird things. I'll just go grab some more tea and be generally quiet-like... [face_whistling]

    Continue, aye? [face_mischief]

The dead swans lay in the stagnant pool.
They lay. They rotted. They turned
    Around occassionally.
Bits of flesh dropped off them from
    Time to time.
And sank into the pool's mire.
They also smelt a great deal.
    -- Paula Nancy Millstone Jennings.

Of course, it's about the point of the middle of the first line that I'm sure someone would have tried to throttle me, had they been present to stop me from posting :p

    YKYAGW

The green arrow at the traffic lights makes you think of the comic book hero Green Arrow.

Likewise, YKYAGW you automatically then link it to Batman, regardless of the topic in question.

    YKYGW...

Somebody greets you and shakes your hand and asks your name and you say...

I'm Batman. Well, it did make them giggle :D

    YKYAGW:

You think that driving through windy backstreets with the Tetris theme playing in your car is just about the only way to travel. And I hasten to add that I'm not just speaking about myself here. :p

I've still got it in my head. :p I was whistling it not 30 seconds ago. I only know 3 words ("moving right along"), but maaaaaan is it catchy.

    This may help:

    Muppet Central Radio.

Broadcasting all your favourite Muppet Songs 'round the web, 'round the clock.

Personally, i'm still looking for a copy of "Ol' Brown Ears is Back", but anyway...

Incidentally, those were both "G" rated films. Dear God, how did any of us grow up normal??

    Be seeing you,

Yeah... I don't think I've ever considered myself "Normal" :p

Although to quote myself, this might be more appropriate: "How did I make it out of childhood?"
