...while putting on five layers of clothing because you partially work outside in subzero temperatures you think:

 

While playing Saints Row IV, you have a sudden urge to play Saints Row II again.

 

...you can complain about:

 

...you are all in bunches after having spoken to Zubrin via facebook and wait patiently for him to Like your gushing over his books.

 

...you have a nerdgasm over Terraclips.

 

...when you heard about the co-pilot who hijacked a plane out of Addis Ababa you immediately thought about the scene from Superman during Lex Luthor's lecture about Kryptonite where Otis exclaims, "Oh! Are we going to Addis Ababa?!"

 

...you look at this overhead shot fo a portion of barcelona and think, "I could be Batman there."

 

You can still fondly recall how excited you were as a kid in 1983 when CBS began airing the primetime fantasy program Wizards and Warriors, and how disappointed you were when they cancelled it, after only eight episodes.

 

...you plan on hitting no less than 3 used book stores for the sc fi sections and attending a comic expo and think, "best weekend ever!"

 

When you're more excited to watch your illegally downloaded copy of "The Desolation of Smaug" than your kids are.

 

When you can recognize a local liquor store featured in an anti-smoking ad.

 

That would make you a wino, not a nerd

 

The people in the lego store like your suggestions on new legos including a larger death star lego set. Basically make larger sets that can be bought separate that will combine to form the death star itself that is much larger say six feet in diameter with its own stand. Large enough to fit a full size millennium falcon in it.

As a nerd you are disheartened to hear Radio shack closing a thousand stores. Radio shack in its own way helped build the electronics we take for granted today. They did this by not only selling phones and VCR but all the little things us nerds needed to build our first circuits and start our journey into the greater world of science and engineering.

 

...watching game vids on Youtube is a fulfilling afternoon.
