...you walk up to the urinal and see a tiny spider trying to get out. You pee on it sending it right down the drain and think, "Take that, Lolth!"

...you know who Lolth is without having to google it to see what VLM is talking about.

Actually, I usually refer to the spider as "unholy spawn of Ungoliant and Shelob," but, hey, that's just me. If Lolth or dryders is what sinks your spiders, let it flow.

The Dodgers are near their 10,000th franchise victory (they're currently at 9,999), and all I can keep thinking about is how to make a lame Midi-chlorian joke/FB status update for when that happens.

    :p

While reading a geopolitical novel, the name of a certain Russian city pops up, and immediately I thought of this scene from an episode of The Critic:

...you can't decide what your favorite spell is; Shapechange or Black Blade Of Disaster. Although in some game systems they dropped Shapechange because evryone just used it to change into a dragon anyway hence along came Form Of The Dragon I, II, and III.

...you lament that the pic you wanted of the Black Blade Of Disaster is not anywhere online so you can use it to accentuate your post.

...you come across the number 17(in my case today delivering 17 boxes to a store) and think, "Seventeen, huh? Ok, you got yourselves a ship."

...you think you may have made this reference before, go back and check, and discover a related "Docking Bay 94" post.

I'm writing an offer letter at work for a candidate named "Reva" and I keep typing "Revan." Spell-check is apparently not into Star Wars, it keeps correcting me.
