...you are able to find and post the full set of rpg stats for a Classic Marvel character as Mr44 does HERE or you see it and know exactly what that entry means. And you always thought they might as well have given Magneto Shift Z to Class 1000 powers since the comics made him that powerful anyway.

 

...you walk by a contruction area where a roof is being tarred and recall that tar is one of the ingrediants for kryptonite in Superman 3.

 

When you look at the list of names for hurricanes this season and you think "Oh Wilfred Mott probably won't get the chance to have a hurricane named after him" and then you slap yourself silly because "WTF, you DON'T WANT Hurricanes to go that far in the naming during hurricane season. That's NOT a good thing!"

 

...you go to check for Pizza Hut prices and google has to correct you because you typed "Pizza Hutt".

 

You bought the new Lego Back to the Future set only because it was in a different language and it was from the Cuusso lego ideas website. All the others said Lego Idea website not Cuusso.
I went to the Lego Store in Rochester. I take my time to go to the lego store because there is none where I live.

 

As was pointed out to me earlier today:

When you are slightly more excited that you will be seeing Alex Kingston as Lady Macbeth then you are Kenneth Branagh who is playing Macbeth because River Song as Lady Macbeth!

 

When you are extremely jealous of your fellow JCC user for getting to see Alex Kingston as Lady Macbeth.

 

...you walk through the dining room to put groceries in the fridge and knock something over. Lamp? No. Dish? Nope. Chair? No.



A speeder bike hit the floor.

 

...you call out some dude on facebook over the price to space between SpaceX vs NASA.

 

... when a sight gag in an episode of Doctor Who reminds you of Radio Raheem from Do the Right Thing.

 

...when you get excited that Alex Kingston shows up on an episode of Law & Order: SVU as a lawyer named Ms. Pond.

...you see someone's signature and their first name is Nick. You immediatley think of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Passed the nerd test. Wasn't a fan of the game, but I remember ste stats and loved the maps.

Hey, that's not being a nerd. That's just common sense.

 

...you click on the "what's new" button and over half the threads on the first page show that you have posted in them.

 

You spend hours researching and making notes of how Archimedes Death Ray could actually work while discussing the possibilities with horrified family and friends (I know Mythbusters busted it, but I still maintain it might be possible if they had used parabolic reflectors and directing the light through a large biconvex lens if one is possible to make back then).

 

You criticise a show aimed at nerds for not being accurate in its nerd parodies.

Case in point - A recent Big Bang Theory episode has a deceased Professor Proton appear as OT Obi Wan, yet he wears PT Obi Wan's lightsaber hilt. For shame creators, for shame

 

...you see a pic whith two ForceFx lightsabers in it and without the colors easily visable you can still identify them as Luke's blue and green via the hilts.

 

You watch a show where they have to solve some riddles and you figure out the riddles before they do.
