...you see the new America's Nuclear Arsenal thread and your mind automatiical recalls that the world's arsenal would end all life on Earth many times over at about 5 gigatons and when you saw Lucifer's stats in the Mayfair Games DC RPG you calculated that he could use the full 45 AP Bomb power and it would be roughly 4 to 8 gigatons though against his Spirit AP he would suffer damage himself but he would still be standing when it was all over.

 

...you think about "Death in Heaven", and decide to put together an Excel spreadsheet comparing all of the Master's previous diabolical plans to see how Missy's plan measures up, based upon degree of difficulty on the Master's part, necessary materials, cost in both time and money, possible rate of return, degree of difficulty on the Doctor's part, and level of insanity needed to conceive and execute each plan.

and you think that while it's a neat, visually-striking cover, Spider-Man is essentially holding a dead woman's body on there, and who thought that would be appropriate to market to children, not that you're a prude, it's just you know the source material and all.

(I just gotta say, where were these classic comic book cover tin signs and wall hangings when I was a comics-loving teenager? All I had was some X-Men ones of a John Romita Jr. Bishop, an Andy Kubert Gambit, and a Jim Lee rendering of Psylocke delivering a psychic knife to Magneto. I would've killed for some of the ones that are out nowadays.)

 

I can't get over how you could buy that issue for just 20¢ once upon a time.
