You are a JCF noob reading this thread from the beginning and it's waaayy too late and you know it, but you keep reading for another half hour anyway.

You want to say "bridge" every time you get in an elevator.

You have to hold back a squee when you find a VHS of TESB in Goodwill.

 

^ Well, saying "bridge" is better than saying "sickbay."

 

Man! I've never thought of trying to talk to the elevator!

I do use the phrase "hello, computer" in Scotty's voice when I want it to wake up, though...

When you come across a picture of birdcages and think about the one the Master kept the Doctor in during The Last of the Time Lords.

 

Question: can one be considered a nerd if he always sucked at sciency stuff???

I mean, I love Star Wars (and like Star Trek and have enjoyed Star Gate too lol), but I also... failed Grade 8 Physics. Twice.

I did, in fairness, IMPROVE on my second try: 48% vs. 29% before lol Probably would have passed if took it a third time haha But, by then, I couldn't stand to look at the Physics textbook anymore...

 

I think we're all nerds at something. I consider myself a huge history nerd, but I barely passed Algebra in high school and college.

 

History has always been my favorite subject
