When one of the characters in a story is a highly educated jerkwad and you immediately picture him being played by Victor Garber.

Also when you read Lamentations 3:1-12 and it makes you think of Darth Vader.

...you get issued a tracking number and to make sure you get the letter right dude says, "Oh six one four G as in George" and you automatically think George Lucas.

 

...the church you do historical archiving for is having a vacation Bible school with the theme being Star Wars, and you sign up to help because Star Wars nerd, duh.

Bonus: You chuckle every time you see that the three groups for said vacation Bible school, which is mainly focusing on the Jedi and the Force, are: Ewoks, Wookiees, and... Mandalorians.

 

Yeah, my reaction was pretty much shut up and my money.

 

When the background noise for your Saturn V build is the soundtrack to Apollo 13 and The Right Stuff.

 

You see a sign for a business called "Harris Ford", and you have to look again to see what it really says, because your brain initially reads it as "Harrison Ford".

 

You see spaghetti western characters and imagery in 1970s Hong Kong wu xia movies and you think, "Yeah, Morricone's scores would be perfect for these too."

After buying the Lego Millennium Falcon kit you spend the rest of the day humming Star Wars music, mostly the Death Star escape and the Hoth asteroid belt. After you get home from the mall you download the Ep. VII soundtrack and you're now pretty sure that you're going to get the Death Star for Christmas.
