(This one actually happened to me today) CNN says something about a "Georgia bridge," and your ears perk up because you thought they were about to talk SW by mentioning "Jar Jar Binks." (Jar Jar sounds sorta like Georgia)

My obsession is with spelling. I can't stand it when newspapers and magazines misspell words like "Chewbacca," and "Jabba the Hutt."
