You know you're too obsessed with Star Wars, when...

When you watch all 4 movies.One after another after another after another.

^Actually yes, and its called FORCE FEST. This is the 7th year running and this year its August 23 from 7am - 8pm.


You know your obsessed when you bought the Episode I DVD on its release and you don't have a DVD player.

Your even more obsessed when the only reason you spent $250 and bought a DVD player for your family is so you could watch the TPM DVD.

When you get all of your friends talking like Yoda in Chem. class and get mad when one of them sounds like Miss. Piggy.

 

I go fishing regulaly to several places about 2 hours drive from home....so I recorded the audio of the 3 OT movies to my PC and burnt them onto a 6 CD set.

Now I can listen (and watch in my head) as I`m going fishing (and coming home). I usually get one movie done on the way there, and another on the way home !

you have someone dress up as Darth Vader and a stormtrooper and walk into your wedding reception to the Star Wars theme, and then my wife and I walk out after them....put it this way, my wedding was one no one will ever forget!

Using Jedi Mind tricks in the casio when youve just drawn a 5 card 22, and you *convince* the dealer its 21. Works about 1% of the time, but its always worth the wave of the hand.

You always refer the the FeNuGi at work as My Young Padawan.

You have every version of the OT that has been released on VHS. The originals, remastered, remastered in THX, Special Edition, and as soon as available DVD.

Finally the easiest way to tell if you are too obsessed with Star Wars:
You list your religion as Jedi Knight!

When you keep having to leave your girlfriend in the pub and run to the toilet room to do a Darth Maul teeth baring growl in the mirror.
When you keep doing the finger motions for the force choke while talking to people without realising untill they ask you what your doing.

I just discovered another one today. I was opening a box of CD's at work today and the way the cardboard rubbed together, it souneded like a lightsaber lighting up. So I spent the next few minutes trying to repeat the sound to no avail.



Truly sad.

 

..spend over $2000 dollars on camera flashes and hardware and conversion kits to build lightsabers.

..have a complete Jedi Knight costume

...take your 3 year old daughter to AOTC. That's tomorrow I can't wait!

..use the force to get my hammer at work. (I have'nt done it yet).

...grow a beard and a mullett to look like Obi-Wan. The beard is scratchy. i like the mullett.

...tell Jehova's witnesses' the Force is my religion.

..etc, etc.
