You Know You've Been On the Forums Too Long When . . .

This is the FFC version of the WNU thread of the same name.

It's a sign that I've been on the forums too long when I posted this thread here in FFC.

 

Well, here's a nomination....
"When people ask you about your goals/New Year's Resolutions for this year and all of them are about doing things on the JCF"

 

When you read a thread titled this and immediately start shaking your head and mumbling "Damn Newbies..."

 

when you thought "damn newbies" but clicked on the thread anyway....

(Shame on you Miana...you should know better...)

 

When you remember the fanfic board split.

And the "are we moving/no we're not" issues.

 

... when you have to bump up a thread that deals with being on the forums too long.

 

When you have to make another one of these threads.

 

...when you wake up in the morning and think "I wonder who posted while I was asleep and what did they say?"

 

...when you have a nightmare in which Sotes kills your master(stabbed with an apple stem!) and attempts to kill your padawan.
...when you start pillow fights on other boards(mine reached its thousand post today!)
...when you wake up screaming "Not my pet nexu!"

 

Bumping

 

...when you check the forums before you check your mail.

 

...when you try to remember how often you saw this thread and think that you answered years before.

 

...When this is the first site you visit every day.

 

...When you have sudden TFN cravings at random intervals during the day.

 

...when you randomly ask a friend if they know what a strill is and what planet they live on.
...when you misread "Mandolin Band" as "Mandalorian Band".
...when you run up to people you don't know and ask them if they have an account here.
...when you lecture someone on Mandalorian pronounciation.
...when you mutter "oh shab" without thinking.

 

When you start talking to your friends on what people say here as if they were in the room

 

When you post in this thread anyway, even though you've only really been here 2/3 months.

 

...when you teach someone about strills.
...when you remember the WNU Random Thoughts thread.

 

When you remember UBB.

 

.. when you accept a parcel and must concentrate NOT to sign the receipt with your username.
