Master Replicas CEO Michael Cookson, VP of Marketing Keith Bornholtz, and our very own Amy Blanchard recently sent a batch of FX Lightsabers to US Navy Specialist Second Class Jason Weber who's currently serving at the US Naval Forces Central Command in the Middle East.
We wanted to share with you a few photos from Jason, along with the following letter:

    Dear Master Replicas,

Greetings! Please accept my sincerest apology for the delay, life gets kinda crazy over here, and thus my fingers have been kept away from my keyboard. Your looking at a group photo of sailors stationed in the Middle East at Commander US Naval Forces Central Command, or COMUSNAVCENT for short. Christmas came early for myself and my nine shipmates as the picture shows. I sent a picture in a few months ago as a thank you for the incredible work YOU all do for the collector community and share what your sabers mean to me. As a thank you, an incredibly BIG thank you, MR President Michael Cookson sent over five lightsabers at first, by airmail priority! The look on everybody's face as they gathered around the box was priceless. There were ten of us standing around the box as I opened it and all of us were like children at Christmas. Of course there was the usual "grownup" response of, "Lightsabers? You must be joking..." The criticism quickly failed though at the sound of one lighting up. There is just something about holding a lightsaber, I don't care who you are, it's fun and no matter how old the hands, you turn into a kid again.

Well, the first box knocked my socks off and when our Post office said, "Weber, your friends sent you another box..." I nearly collapsed, a box of FIVE MORE! I knew then what I must do, I sought out nine shipmates who embodied the spirit of the lightsaber, that of a weapon used in fighting in what one views as worthy, a instrument of light to those around, and well, nine other cool people who feel the same way I do about Star Wars. I gathered together this elite group for the sole purpose of showing the world that not only is Master Replicas the coolest collectible producing company around, but that they support the TROOPS! And to show those that would challenge the spirit of the Light Side, and the spirit of America, that there is a new JTF (Jedi Task Force) in the Middle East, not only determined to defend freedom, but defend it using, "A more civilized weapon from a more civilized age."

The most important thing to us serving over here, is a reminder of what we are serving for, who we are serving for, and why. Whether it be the belief in Freedom and Democracy, or the daily thought of keeping our family and friends safe, we keep going because of people like those at Master Replicas, who went above and beyond the call of duty to remind us what the holiday season is all about, and make this Christmas, though spent away from family and friends, certainly one of the most memorable ones ever.

That's the basics of it, you guys rock, no doubt about it and I hope you are able to use the pictures to show the world your kindness and support for us and feel free to use some, none, any or all of my words if they will help this cause. Thanks again, you rock and look forward to seeing how you use this!

    All my best,

Jason Weber, Intelligence Specialist Second Class (Surface/ Air Warefare) USN

It's us who want to say thank you Jason, please enjoy and come home safe.

    -The Team at Master Replicas

Jedi's what? "Jedi's" is possessive.

The plural form usually doesn't have an "s" on the end, either. It's just Jedi.

    That is cool, though.
    :)
