ST You think there will be a "Force Awakens" Superbowl Ad?

There's been a few "Big Game" 5-second online teasers for full-blown 30 second superbowl ads (for some reason, they can't say the word "superbowl" when they advertise the ads so they just say "Big Game").

I would love there to be so I said, "Yup!"

But I don't know, it's on NBC not ABC and it's not like Superbowl commercials are cheap, but I'm going to remain hopeful.

 

I think we would've heard already if there was going to be one.

 

We would? We had only what? A four days notice when the teaser came out. And the only reason we think we got that much warning was because of a screw up at the theater's website. Disney would just need to order a block of time, they don't have to say what it is for when they send out the press release.


Also they can't say 'Super Bowl' because of a copyright issue so they have to say the "Big Game'.

 

I think there will...but it will be the teaser that we have already seen...no new footage

 

My Seahawks are playing the game. A TFA commercial on top of that would be even more awesome to add to that day.

Star Wars sells itself. No reason to spend a million dollars to air a commercial. Doubt we'll even see the existing trailer. From now until May 1st it's going to be all Avengers for Disney. Then the SW theatrical trailer hits with Avengers to create more SW hype. After Avengers gets through it's opening weekend then I expect Disney to start an all-out Star Wars blitz.

Exactly. I see all this happening, and I doubt we'll get to see any TFA teaser or trailer during the Super Bowl Big Game TM.

We got our taste over the holidays with the teaser. Now it's going to be VERY quiet until at least Celebration. It's going to be a long 4 months!

 

There'll be a trailer for AOTC just to **** with us.

No, because the release date is too far off, Disney has other films closer to release to market, and most important of all, a Star Wars film doesn't really need to be marketed.

Plus, I think we would have heard some kind of confirmation about this by now.

Yeah I think they want to push The Avengers first and foremost since that's next up on the rotation. With Avengers will come a new Star Wars trailer.

 

I would love for there to be a Trailer for Star Wars During the Super Bowl but I Don't think there will be I know There will Definitely be one for Jurassic World, www.ABC.com and Ron Howard on Twitter confirmed it Officially .....

 

Catapult. launches an imperial planet to meet a rebel planet. It's an interesting weapon.

 

Allegedly, the full trailer will be with Avengers: Age of Ultron, where we'll get our first look at Han, Leia, and Luke. All rumor, of course.

Not to mention, AOU is Disney and will get a bump in ticket sales even from SW fans who are not Marvel fans.

 

I say no but if there is one then I will be excited.

 

I'm not a fan of either team, but the Patriots seems like the Empire with all the nonsense they've been involved with recently lol
