That seems like something Tony Stark would pull...
Maybe he did?
Jon Stewart almost mentioned Magneto during Elizabeth Olsen's appearance on the Daily Show.
"the progeny of..."
SAY IT!!! SAY IT!!!
Not quite as big as some of the other superhero news this week, but Drew Goddard has officially signed on as Executive Producer and Showrunner of the Netflix Daredevil show.
IF ABC decides to renew AGENTS of Shield for a second season, when would they make the announcement? Sometime early in the year or would they wait until spring?
They won't announce until sometime between February and May.
Which company owns Kingpin's right now? Sony or Disney?
Disney/Marvel. Kingpin came bundled with Daredevil and I would expect to see him in at least the DD Netflix series if not all four.
The same thing happened with Mobieus when New Line Cinema wanted to use him in "Blade II", but couldn't because he belonged to Columbia with Spider-Man.
Paul Rudd confirmed to be playing Antman.
Now he's playing with power- superpower!
Now I am no longer wanting to see this movie as much as I once did (which was a lot).
He's the perfect Pym.
He's too tall.
Guys, it is a movie called Ant Man.
Ant Man. A man who takes on the characteristics of an ant. How far can your expectations possibly fall, given where they started out?
Paul Rudd hasn't had a good track record as of late either.
I love Paul Rudd. This is great news.
Did you see Prince Avalanche from earlier this year. He was fantastic in that. He captured both the pathos and the hilarious humor.
i like most of his recent stuff actually, even goofy films like our idiot brother and wanderlust.
I meant financially, he hasn't had a good track record. Most of the stuff that he's in gets decent reviews.
Yeah, after the success of Chris Evans as Cap, I have better faith in generally comedic actors playing these parts. Chris Pratt is another example, given his more serious roles recently. I think Paul Rudd can pull it off. Granted, I know next to nothing about Ant-Man, but as an actor I think Rudd is a good choice, just based on his skills.
And this thread reminds me that yeah, I need to see Prince Avalanche.
I think Rudd could do well as Hank Pym, he's made bad movie choices the last few years I think but that isn't to say he's a bad actor.
