    The same thing happened with Mobieus when New Line Cinema wanted to use him in "Blade II", but couldn't because he belonged to Columbia with Spider-Man.

    I love Paul Rudd. This is great news.

    Did you see Prince Avalanche from earlier this year. He was fantastic in that. He captured both the pathos and the hilarious humor.

    I meant financially, he hasn't had a good track record. Most of the stuff that he's in gets decent reviews.

    Yeah, after the success of Chris Evans as Cap, I have better faith in generally comedic actors playing these parts. Chris Pratt is another example, given his more serious roles recently. I think Paul Rudd can pull it off. Granted, I know next to nothing about Ant-Man, but as an actor I think Rudd is a good choice, just based on his skills.

    And this thread reminds me that yeah, I need to see Prince Avalanche.

    I think Rudd could do well as Hank Pym, he's made bad movie choices the last few years I think but that isn't to say he's a bad actor.
