Considering they're doing The Inhumans and Captain Marvel I'm hoping we get some appearances by Ms. Marvel. I can practically see Fox News frothing at the mouth over there being a female Muslim superhero in the films.

 

will someone just explain to me, if Captain America and Captain Marvel aren't supposed to be the same woman, why is Captain America: Civil War the last Captain America movie?

 

Also, separate to the "Agents of SHIELD" thread -- there is very, very solid underpinings in that show for introducing lead-ins (or characters already seen on the show) to the Inhumans.

I don't know. They might take the female Muslim angle as a plus and run it as angering those terrorists overseas with our American freedom and letting muslim women be superheroes.

Last one announced. Everyone gets one movie per phase. Cap civil War is his phase 3 movie. Phase 4 he will get another.

Nah. He'll probably be back to Steve Rogers by Cap 4. Might have Bucky or Falcon taking the Cap role for the post Cap 3 films.

I swear I had never heard of Captain Marvel until I saw the 2015-2019 title list as posted on box office mojo. Equally authentic, the first thing that popped into my mind was that it was a much better name for Captain America.
