Yeah, but there's six infinity stones...does the movie have time to cover Thanos stealing all of them? Even if it did, wouldn't it get kinda repetitive once we get to seeing him do it for the fourth time?

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows handled a bunch of horcruxes just fine... the real locket first... and then the cup, the diadem, the snake, and Harry himself in short succession while seeming natural.

Where are the 6 Infinity Stones, again? I know one is with Vision, and one is guarded by Doctor Strange.

I don't imagine that Thanos will need to steal all six of them. He'll probably steal the first two or three, to at which point he'll have enough power to take the stones by force rather than steal them. I think the footage from the SDCC trailer is probably at the point where Thanos is taking things by force.

    Yeah, trailer spoiler:
we see Thanos with the gauntlet and only having a couple stones I think, and it doesn’t look like he’s sneaking around at that point anymore.
    .

Xandar is the real fight- but if Thanos is smart, he’d just acquire other stones first and make short work of the Nova Corps next. He could also send in the Chitauri, given that a single Kree battleship was enough to, at the very least, cause a draw with the Nova.

So with the success of Goldblum as the Grandmaster, anyone think Dwayne Johnson might end up as fellow Elder, Tryco (Champion of the Universe) Slatterus? Or will his contract to play Black Adam have a no-Marvel clause?

It feels like Dwayne Johnson is like in 1 of every 4 blockbuster films. So, barring any exclusive deal in his contract with WB/DC (which doesn't seem to be the case as he has deals with Universal, HBO, Hasbro, etc.) , there's always a possibility that he can be in a MCU flick. However, if he does play a part in a MCU film, I would think it would be for a major character, like the Thing (aka Ben Grimm) when the rights to the Fantastic Four return to Marvel Studios. :p

Well, he's tied up with playing Black Adam which now has a screenwriter.

Not only the Black Adam film, but The Rock just finished Rampage and is currently filming Skyscraper and will be filming Jungle Cruise soon, with him being attached to other films like Big Trouble in Little China, Doc Savage, Journey 3: From the Earth to the Moon, San Andreas 2, The Janson Directive and the untitled Fast and Furious spinoff film and followup to The Fate of the Furious.

I get the feeling Thanos will start the movie out in space and move closer to Earth for the final Earthbound stones. Which I am guessing the movie probably opens with him splattering the Nova Corps or stealing it without anyone knowing.

Ragnarok spoilers but more about in the larger MCU context:

oh well THAT'S probably a big reason why we didn't get an Infinity War trailer, Thor would be rockin an eyepatch. That would literally be a spoiler for the movie you're about to see. So I gets it.

Remember the one shot of a few frames of the "Infinity Gauntlet" in Thor? Well, it's on screen again here for about 2 seconds as Hela pushes it over and says "Most of the things in here are fake" and discards it. So that is on screen confirmed that's not the Gauntlet in Asgard so no idea where Thanos was grabbing it from in the Ultron post-credits.

Oh and Loki abso-friggin-loutley grabbed the Terrasact. I mean, come ons.

It's possible Banner can be literally almost entirely dead and still Hulk out and be fine. It's an amazing traumatic hilarious gag how we see this. But, yeah, Banner can be broken like a rag doll and Hulk bounces back fine. This is like some uber-Hulk mythology like The End or Future Imperfect where Hulk is the strongest and eventually the only one there is, he's basically almost immortal.

As for the mid-credits stinger, Thor and company either ran into Thanos or maybe the Guardians stole a bigger ship or something. But probably Thanos.

Um, we've known that about the Hulk forever...

"I put a bullet in my mouth and the Big Guy spit it out..."

All from the Deleted Scene of the second movie in the MCU (The Incredible Hulk)...

I didn't know he pulled the trigger meself, I thought Hulk crushed it before it happened.

EDIT: Well, it looks like he gets as far as loading and pulling back the hammer but I don't think he actually shot himself, but it could simply cut past it. His quote in Avengers could be literally or figuratively.

If we get the Fox fanfare back for Star Wars... worth it!

That's very interesting and something I'll be watching with great interest.

Although, it's a bit surprising considering that Fox has done really well at the box office with the X-Men films and Legion and The Gifted receiving both critical and fanboy praise.

It would be awesome if all the Marvel character were under the Mouse House's roof.

There's no scans of the last one, but in #437 and 438, he survived a grenade explosion as Banner and was fine when he Hulked out. Also, he did survive a bullet to the head way back early on.

Probably wouldn't get the fanfare since it's not the whole company/name being sold, just the entertainment properties.

It would probably actually result in the removal of the fanfare from ANH since Fox, up until this point, still owns the distribution.

It seems Stan Lee may not have been that far off in his speculation. Makes a lot of sense for both companies. We’ll see if talks resume, but could be a very interesting development indeed.

But the fanfare is only for the entertainment division, which is what's talked about being sold...

Also, this solves the A New Hope issue as well, for future distribution...

I think the fanfare of A New Hope relies on whether or not Lucas will ever allow a release of a remastered HD/4K of the theatrical cut of the film.

Not specifically what I'm referring to here... supposedly, ANH distribution rights stay with Fox forever, and ESB/ROTJ/Prequels move to Disney after 20 years or some such nonsense... this would solve all of that, and possibly drive Disney for proper xfers of the originals, since there's no impetus AT ALL for that now since they don't get anything for it...
