I've tried doing a search to see if there are any threads about this but came up empty handed.

Anyway, are there any good reference sites or pattern suggestions for this costume? I'm trying to figure out a costume for my son for next Halloween. He'll be all of 16 months by then, but he'll at least be able to walk. Barring the Fett clone costume, I may have to try & make him a Yoda costume.

Hi, the young Fett costume is a nice idea, you're talking about the blue sort of one right? Im sorry I dont know of any links to any references, but I do have a few pictures, I've never seen one of these made before.

Check out the lastest edition of the Star Wars Insider in the Bantha Tracks section. THere is a photo of members of our group with Daniel Logan holding one of our children (Katie Schwaz) dressed in the Clone Youth uniform.
The mothers of most of our children who costume occasionally with our Garrison have made these for their little ones.
Some of our mom's have also made Clone adult uniforms to tend to our younglings while our troopers are out trooping.

    ;)

I have used a modification of the "Lord of the Rings-esque" McCall's pattern #3789 (view C) for the tunic / pants. I ommitted the center front seam and tightened the width of the sleeves. THis pattern comes in both child and adult sizes.

I did a Ghetto one for my FanForce Costume Parade in May. [face_blush] What I did was made the Tunic using Cotton Drill and wore a Dull Dark Blue Long Sleeves T-Shirt and a Baby Blue Pants (was hunting for it for the past 3 years! :p ). Still missing the Belt and Shin Guards so I threw on the Poncho most of the time, especially during our Parade.

That blue thinging at the bottom left of the photo.

But I am planning to redo the whole top part by having the Tunic and sleeves as 1 piece. Also doing the belt. The Shin Guard may be a little problem as my shins are fat (ya, ya, it's because I'm a Fat Gal) and I really must get a wig as the wig I rented from the shop will not always be there when I need it.

Am also aiming to get the DP Helmet as most don't know who I am. :_|

Thanks for the info, everyone. It will prove very helpful.

I know I've seen the patches before but couldn't tell you where. Might try looking on EBay.
