    Young Jedi Niagara made the news with this article in the St. Catharines Standard.

    Jedi Knights suit up for Womens Place

    Niagara's Young Jedi Knights are banding together for Wemon's Place St. Catharines.
    The charitable group based on the Star Wars saga is raising money for the women's shelter with Toonie Tuesdays at the Sa Hairahs Salon on Queenston Street in St. Catharines.
    On April 17th from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. every childrens haircut will be $2, with all proceeds going to Women's Place St. Catharines.
    Members of Young Jedi Niagara will be in costume as Darth Maul and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Contact www.youngjediniagara.com for more information.

    I remember that article. It was the first I had heard of YJN. I immediately emailed ObiWan and I was soo glad there was a Star Wars FanForce in my city.
