What is your #1 from each of the different type and for each side? Cards that you put into almost ever deck you make. Cards that you can not live with out.

If its TCG then it would be Jango (A) or Yoda (B), if its CCG, its Vader w/ Saber.

    As I can't really decide...

    Here's a few.

    TCG :

    Light Side :

    1st - Yoda (A)
    2nd - Yoda (B)
    3rd - Obi-Wan (A)

    Dark Side :

    1st - Darth Tyrannus (A)
    2nd - Darth Sidious (A)
    3rd - Darth Maul (B) (Promo)

    CCG :

    Light Side :

1st - Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight (Foil)
    &
1st - Yoda, Master Of The Force
    2nd - Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Knight

    Dark Side :

    1st - Darth Sidious
2nd - Darth Vader, Dark Lord Of The Sith

    This concludes The List.

TCG: Nothing really stands out yet...

    CCG:
Light = Might Of The Republic and We Wish To Board At Once
Dark = Neimoidian Advisor and We Must Accelerate Our Plans

Pulling effects and locations out of your deck is HUGE. You gotta have a puller or two in your deck. The newer effect pullers are even better than the old The Signal and Twi'lek Advisor ones.

Darth Vader, Dark Lord Of The Sith, a good character to use?

...Naahhhhh... you should trade him to me for a couple of WED-9-M1 "Bantha" Droids and some Jawas. As much as I hate to part with the Bantha Droids, that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make... :)

Darth Vader, Dark Lord Of The Sith...

How can it not be a good card - walk around the universe choking everyone that annoys you. He almost always features in any DS deck I make.

Iwjev - Darth Maul (B) (Promo) comes with the Darth Maul Unleashed figure.

As for the SR cards - check out the posts at Wizards.com...

Yes, Darth Vader, Dark Lord Of The Sith (or "DVDLOTS" or "DLOTS") is still one of the most popular cards around. Put a lightsaber on him, and he essentially has two weapons, which you can use in battle. Going up against Chewie Enraged and Han w/Blaster? Choke Chewie (he's only ability 2 ... ignore any Armor he may have) to send him to the lost pile, then whack Han with your saber making him forfeit 0, then draw destiny (he draws none now, Chewie is gone) and hit him up with a lot of attrition.

    Sound good? :)

I'll agree with Vader (DLOTS) being one of my favorite cards. That one along with Ben Kenobi and the enhanced cards are a ton of fun to play with. Of the enhanced I always loved Ben with saber and Han with Blaster.
