    Also...

Yay! I still need to watch the second half of the season. So sad it's over.

Just seen the running time 2H 33min I don't know if I could last till 3am and get up at 7:30 for work. I might take the day off . But I would buy ticket in advance so I know that I'll get a seat.

Yeah, if they're already almost sold out entirely and it's going to last that long... I might have to pass as well, I have class in the morning and I will be busy earlier that night anyway so I'd be late to the theater and get lousy seats.

I will not be able to make it to a showing until at least a week after it opens, so if anyone has not seen it by that point in time, let me know. Also, anyone in the Bedford area who would want to try to catch a saturday or sunday matinee of Star Wars, let me know.

    ***********Edit************
I meant to say Transformers ROTF, this is what I get for posting things when I am mentally exhasuted.

I was very sad about this when it was announced a few weeks back.

I don't get the channel whether I'm in Bloomington or home though, so I've ceased to really care about it. General consensus seems to be that it's a dumb move for the company.

SciFi has shown wrestling for years, it's really nothing new. It used to be part of their late-evening programming.

Anyone in the group watch Doctor Who? Torchwood? Or, Rassilon forbid, The Sarah Jane Adventures?

I gotta ask, I'm going nuts over all the new stuff.

Doctor Who is all kinds of amazing, especially if you love an element of cheesiness and camp with your quality sci-fi stories. The classic series (1963 through the late 80's) has its ups and downs and can get a little repetitive, but the new series (started in 2005) is absolutely perfect, in my mind.

I think the best part of the story is that if it starts to get stale, you can always change the cast. The Doctor can "regenerate" when he's dying, rewriting his molecular blah-blah, and basically make himself into an entirely new person. New face, new personality, but same memories. So every few years there's a new actor and a new interpretation to keep things fresh and interesting. (They also change the people the Doctor travels through time and space with, so that keeps the show going as well.)

For anyone with NetFlix, the first three seasons of New Who are available for Instant Watch, as are a bunch of the old Classic Who stories. (I recommend checking out the ones with Tom Baker, the 4th Doctor, and Peter Davison, the 5th Doctor.)

(Sorry for the novel-length comment... I get a bit enthusiastic about the Doctor.)

There was some intersting Iron Man 2 stuff at Comic Con. And Oliva Munn looked great in all the outfits.
But seriously ... They had a cool segment on first issue's of Superman, Spiderman and X-Men.
