Okay, on a Formula 1 forum which i am a member of, we have a screenshots section where we show our desktops and other cool stuff such as shots from games we play.

I'm not sure I can post my desktop. It's Page 3 model Keeley Hazell, although she is wearing a bra.

LordIceMan: I didn't know you were a F1 fan!

I'll have to start a thread when the season opener gets a bit closer.

So whos your hot tip for this year. The preseason testing form heavily favours Renault, but Honda and Williams have both posted some very tasty times, with McLaren having to sort out a few niggles before they can be judged.

You can never really tell with Ferrari, as they do most of their testing in private, but they should also be there or there abouts.

Not too keen on Rossi joining the sport. There are plenty of "real" racing drivers out there begging for a drive (Anthony Davidson springs to mind), so why waste time on a bloody motorbike driver?

Whats next? Lance Armstrong signs for McLaren?????

Speaking of McLaren, have you seen their new paint scheme!!

Posting your desktops? This is actually a very good idea. If my one at home is board friendly, I'll post it here in the next couple days.

I'm also an F1 fan, though I work Sundays, and usually have to catch the highlights after midnight.
Before that, watching the race was one of the few television events that I arranged my day around. Loved Murray Walker, and basically followed him regardless of which television channel he was doing the commentating for.

I'm actually quite excited about Rossi joining F1, if he does so. From what I understand, his bike contract extends into this year, so although he has been testing for Ferrari, he won't be able to compete in the 2006 Season of F1.

I'm pretty eager to see how a champion from another environment does in there. It's like being aware that a new driver absolutely rocks at Indy 500 and has come over to try their hand at real racing.

Well my tip this goes to Renault, and only because of the fact that Mclaren are not looking to good at the moment. The new Mclaren chrome has now been on track and can been seen at www.itv.com/f1 . Super Aguri is a waste of time, Anthony Davidson is not gonna have race seat for a few unless he takes what is offered to him. Rossi should be in F1 next season and it will be good to see. Kimi RAikkonen for the championship....you wont believe how many times i have said that.

Yep, going to be one interesting season.

Did you hear that Ferrari have announced that they are having major problems with their car and they are not where they need to be at this stage of the season.

Might that be becasue they're wasting valuable bloody testing time on a glorified pizza delivery boy????

Honda look very tasty, as do Williams. I think it could be between Renault and Honda this year, but you can never discount Mclaren.

How smug must Barrichello be feeling right about now.

 

You really don't like this Rossi fella. Or is it something against all bike riders?

When does the Season start?

 

I used to have i motor bike. Yamaha RSX 125. Beauty of a machine

 

I have nothing against bike riders, as long as they stick to riding bikes.

It just annoys me as a frustrated racing driver myself, that a bike racer should get the chance of a lifetime to drive for a team like Ferrari, when you got people who have been racing 4 wheels since they were 5 years old, who will never get that chance.

It just seems like a big PR stunt to me. Why spend all that time, money and resources on a maybe, when you have countless real drivers knocking at the door.

Its the old addage. Its not what you know, its who you know.

If I were Schumacher, I wouldn't stand for it. The car is missing out on valuable testing and development time, just so they can try and get this guy up to speed.

I must warn you though, that i'm pretty darn fast in those things, and I won't be taking prisoners this time.

 

Well my 1st ever race saw me pull out for a good 15mins due to injury(being hit from the side) and then get back in the Kart and come 3rd. I think thats impressive.

I would love a kart meet up. I think its time for a new topic and to start planning

 

You know my brother forced me ito a tyre wall once in a kart. We were going flat out and the sonofabitch side swipped me off!

I banged my elbow up pretty bad. I managed to get back into the race, but the git was so far ahead, I had no chance.

Looks like it's going to be Honda and Renault contesting the season opener in 2 weeks. Can't wait!!

Though as i've already said, you can never discount teams like Ferrair and McLaren, who might pull something special out of the hat.

Grand Admiral Thrawn... Yeah. I drew a picture of him on my PC with the Imperial logo behind... It took AGES i mean i had two REALLY small pictures to work off to make the picture so I spose the wallpaper is there so that picture actually gets used!
