Characters and where they shined most for me:
    • Paul Muad'Dib Atreides - The original Dune Trilogy
    • Bruce Wayne/Batman - Batman TAS, and the Dark Knight Trilogy (not incredibly familiar with too much of the comics)
    • Luke Skywalker - original Star Wars trilogy and the last bit of the NJO
    • Jack Sparrow - The only Pirates of the Caribbean movie that really counts
    • Robb Stark - Song of Ice and Fire series and Game of Thrones TV series
    • Daenerys Targaryen - Song of Ice and Fire series and GoT TV series
    • Ezio Auditore De Firenze - Assassin's Creed series (mainly AC2 and Brotherhood)
    • Jon Snow - Song of Ice and Fire series...not so much in the GoT TV series
    • Kylar Stern/Azoth - The Night Angel Trilogy
    • Peter Parker/Spider-Man - Spider-Man TAS, Spider-Man 1 & 2
    • Dazen Guile - The Lightbringer trilogy
    • Commander Shepard (Paragon) and the crew of the Normandy - Mass Effect video game series
    • Jack Shepard - Lost TV series
    • John Dorian (J.D.) - Scrubs TV series
    • Perry Cox - Scrubs TV series
    • Barney Stinson - How I Met Your Mother TV series
    • Lee Adama - Battlestar Galactica TV series
    • William Adama - Battlestar Galactica TV series
    • Athena - Battlestar Galactica

For books, I really, really liked Mulch Diggums from Artemis Fowl. He could fart his way through nearly any material.

Oh wow, too many for me to fully list. Just from the top of my head (in no specific order, and not including SW)

    TV/Movie:
    Captain John Sheridan (Babylon 5)
    Commander Jeffery Sinclair (Babylon 5)
    Commander Susan Ivanova (Babylon 5)
    Micheal Garabaldi (Babylon 5)
    Londo Mollari (Babylon 5)
    G'Kar (Babylon 5)
    Mr. Morden (Babylon 5)
    Alfred Bester (Babylon 5)
Tony Stark/Iron Man (Iron Man 1-3/Avengers)
Pretty much anyone from Avatar: The Last Airbender, but special mention to:
*Prince Zuko (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
    *Sokka (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
*Toph Beifong (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
*Uncle Iroh (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
*Princess Azula (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
    Indiana Jones (Indiana Jones)
Commander/Admiral William Adama (Battlestar Galactica 2003)
    Malcolm Reynolds (Firefly)
    Jayne Cobb (Firefly)

    Game:
    Heather Mason (Silent Hill 3)
Garrus Vakarian (Mass Effect 1 and 2)
    Tali'Zorah (Mass Effect 1 and 2)
    Mordin Solus (Mass Effect 2)
The Illusive Man/TIM (Mass Effect 2)
    Death's Hand (Jade Empire)
    Sun Li (Jade Empire)
    Albert Wesker (Resident Evil series)
    Legate Lanius (Fallout: New Vegas)
    Conrad Marburg (Alpha Protocol)
Sergeant Rex "Power" Colt (FarCry 3: Blood Dragon)

And a whole host of others I'm sure I forgot to list.

    You forgot detective Mike... Loooowry.

Some of my favorites in no particular order:
    Superman
    Sarah Connor (Terminator films)
    Luke Skywalker
Detective Dignam (Wahlberg's character from The Departed) - "My theory on the Feds is like mushrooms. Feed'em **** and keep'em in the dahk."
Major Zod (the younger Zod of the 'Smallville' tv series)
John McClane, but only from the first three films, not the superhuman from 4 and 5, which took away the exact thing that was his charm.
    Magneto
The Wolverine from the movies. I remember Wolverine in the 90's animated series was a chronically angry douche. But the Norwegian voice actor for him had an unintentionally funny voice, which still made him fun to watch. [face_laugh] The Wolverine of the movies is more relatable. Plus he's hopelessly in love with a woman who has rejected him, like a loser, which makes him endearing in a strange way. I mean, here is a guy who can live eternally for all we know, and can heal from almost anything and yet he goes around swooning over a woman who doesn't want him.

Meh. I thought about Holden Caulfield but ultimately he's too much of a whiny **** to enter the list.

And count me as another Ezio Auditore Da Firenze groupie. :p

Oh, I considered having him. But ultimately, I'm not that much of a fan of the Bad Boys series. He's one of the weaker characters Will Smith has done, in my opinion.
