Just in time for Valentine's Day - pick your favorite Clone Wars couple!

Is it Anakin and Padme?

Who's your favorite couple and why!

I'll go first - I'm really taken with the Obi and Satine romance, but I'm going to go with Cut and Suu. I'm a step-dad myself, and so the two of them kind of works for me. Also, a peek into what could be for Rex and the other clones after the war (if, you know, something really bad doesn't happen like somebody declaring themselves Emperor, but I'm sure that won't happen!).

 

Anakin + Padme as well as Obi-Wan + Satine.

 

Obi-Wan and Satine (to date). The dialogue is well written, with plenty of jousting
and double entendre.

Now if Satine would only call him Benjamin...

 

I think I would, in fact, die.

Especially if she does the beard pat at the same time.

 

If I can answer this question in terms of who has the best chemistry in the show, as opposed to who should end up together for continuity reasons and such, my vote goes to Anakin Skywalker and Adi Gallia.

 

That has got to be one of the most hilarious things I have read out here. I never really gave it any thought.

 

Well now, if that were the case, I'd say Anakin and Luminara. Or possibly Ahsoka and Bariss

Luminara would be too much of a dampening, rational influence on Anakin's adventurous spirit (not unlike Padme, actually). Now, if what we saw from "Grievous Intrigue" was a good indication of Adi Gallia's personality, she and Anakin could take the Order for a wild ride.

 

Can't say I don't like that. They'd be a good Star Wars version of Bonnie and Clyde.

Also, TODO and one of the fembots (anyone notice Satine has one as a waitress?). With TODO in a Hef style smoking jacket, and the fembot with bunny ears.

I hate it.

First I thought it was another (censor-dodging) way of saying 'WTF'.

 

Anakin and Padme. The reason why is because their relationship is better handled in TCW than the PT (which was still good). And Anikan and Padme just feels like the most real relationship to me.

'ftw' FTW! It's one of the few internet acronyms that I actually use.

 

Obi-Wan and Anakin. Just thought I'd get that in there before somebody else does. XD

But more to the point, I think Obi-Wan and Satine is the best one out there so far...though Cut and Suu comes second, and Anakin and Padme actually takes third. These would be the most well-adjusted couples so far, I think.

 

I don't really use any. Except for the occasional "BTW."
