Your Favorite Clone Wars Couple

Favorite couple? Ah, that's Obi-Wan and Anakin.

 

This is starting to feel more like a thread about Torchwood than TCW...

 

I really enjoyed reading through all the posts!
Love the sense of humor!

Honestly, I never really liked Anakin & Padme, even though I know the twins come from that and my love affair with Luke wouldn't exist, but I never really paired anyone in Star Wars, that was until I watched the previous 3 episodes of Clone Wars!

Obi-Wan/Satine - best star wars couple. I like the humor, their teasing, arguing and momentary romantic glances. And there seems to be kind of a love/hate relationship. one minute she's conplementing him and the next critisizing him, lol. And he takes it like any man would, lol.

And yes, you may hate me for saying this, but honestly, Satine is the type of person I imagined Luke and Leia's mother would be like, even before the prequels came out.

 

I hate you forever! No, just kidding. I can see how she fits the bill (beautiful but sad). Satine seems very thoughtful and regal, the kind of person you'd expect Leia to emulate.

But we get Padme, who I don't much like in the movies (last bit of AOTC from the arena on was the only time I liked her), but I do kind of like her in the series. Or it might be that I close my eyes and hear Mission Vao complaining about Zalbar...

 

She is, isn't she? She seems to fit Carrie Fisher's haunted memory more closely
than the way Padme has been portrayed in both film and television.

Please no shipping threads. It seems so cheap and soap opera-ish.

I think the Star Wars Community board has shipper threads. I'm pretty sure I've seen Anakin/Padme fan clubs and so forth there. I usually skip over that, though, so...don't quote me.
