Your Favorite Emperor Quote

So what was your favorite line spoken by Emperor Palpatine? I like

"Everything that has transpired has done so according to my design!"

Gives me chills, especially with the added knowledge the PT gives us. But this is about the OT

 

"You, like your father, are now mine"-amazingly evil and possessive.

It just goes to show you how much the Emperor saw Vader and Luke as his slaves, rather than his apprentices.

If this was in the PT forum too, I'd have to say I like it when he makes that little 'yeah!' while Anakin is dueling Dooku.

the whole sympathetic way he says this, just always creeps me out

 

He says "Get" when anakin is fightng count dooku.I just looked at that scene with subtitles on and he just says "Get" no yeah...

The creepy way he says" good,good after vader throws his lightsaber at luke(when hes fighting vader in rotj).

If you mean when he's emperor:

"Good... the hate is swelling in you now." Just creepy!

"Now, young Skywalker... you will die." It speaks for itself.

"Strike me down with all of your hatred, and your journey towards the Dark Side will be complete!" The fact that he just offers his own death to Luke, knowing that the Jedi wouldn't, is just so... evil!

He says some great stuff, but for some odd reason, I really loved the cackling in ROTJ. It made him seem so old and slimy. Very Mr. Burns.

And the way he's so awful when he says "Oh, I'm afraid the deflector shield will be quite operational when your friends arrive." You just want to hit him with the way he says that.

I'm going to have to watch ROTJ again because I can't remember word for word one of the lines he says, and that's ridiculous when I've seen it about a million times. It's the one that goes something along these lines...

"Your fleet is lost, and your friends on the century moon will not survive".

But he says something else in there too I think. It's like he's just bringing up every negative thing that is happening during that moment, and you can just feel Luke's feelings as he looks out the viewport. The anger, the frusteration. It's what leads up to when Luke hesistates, and then pulls his lighsaber to him, and attempts to strike down the Emperor (of course Vader blocks it).

lol, anyways i hate to post again but i love it whenever the emperor says "POWER!!" i love how he bellows it out!!

Yep that one is gold, it shows the true arrogance of the emporer and the darkside altogether. He thinks he's ontop of the world and all powerful, yet he's destroyed by a fleet about one tenth of his army size.

Plus I like ''your faith in your friends is yours!''
