What do you mean I "predisposed myself to hating it?" I don't recall making any commentary prior to release.
I also like the bit when the gamemaker with the awesome facial hair (forgetting his name at the moment) realize he's loced in the room with just the bowl of poison berries.
You mean this guy, Seneca Crane? I almost forgot that Hunger Games came out this year. I think my favorite moment from that movie was Woody Harrelson.
That's the one, yes. Yeah, it seems like to long ago, and there have been some great movies in between ... (And by that, I mean I liked the Avengers )
Lincoln: Mr. Bilbo kicking leaves at the Representative trying to shoot him. Skyfall: Shanghai fight. Girl Walk//All Day: Every minute of Part 12. Holy Motors: The accordion procession. Zero Dark Thirty: "I'm the mother****er who found this place, sir.", the raid.
Stealing a slice of pizza from my sister-in-law during my post wedding pizza party hotel hoedown and giving it to @Sebulba-X 's wife.
And yet it's still incredibly moving just before he makes the jump. The Cabin in the Woods: "Am I on speakerphone?" Lincoln: "Blood's been spilled . . . Now! Now! Now!" & "I wish he had chosen an instrument more wieldy than the House of Representatives." & "The fate of millions not yet born." Argo: The entire frigging airport/airplane sequence The Avengers: "In the end you will always kneel." "Not to men like you." "There are no men like me." "There are always men like you." & "I am a God, you dull creature and I will not be bullied by . . ." Django Unchained: "I'm sorry. I couldn't resist." The Dark Knight Rises: "Have we started the fire?" "Yes, the fire rises." Skyfall: "M." "Bitch." & "Not like this. Not like him." The Amazing Spider-Man: "I've been bitten." "So have I." & "I dunno. Just, uh... Um... I dunno, we could, I dunno, we could uh... Or we could do something else, or we could, with no... We, like, we could..." "Yeah!" Les Miserables: "Take my hand, I lead you to salvation. Take my love, for love is everlasting. And remember the truth that once was spoken: to love another person is to see the face of God." & "And still I dream he'll come to me and we will live the years together, but there are dreams that cannot be and there are storms we cannot weather."
The birthing scene in "Prometheus". Cam Brady punching the baby in "The Campaign". When Eva returns to her home at the end of "We Need To Talk About Kevin". The fake-out at the end of "Breaking Dawn Part 2". Silva's opening monologue in "Skyfall". Riddles in the Dark in "An Unexpected Journey". Abraham and Molly's fight over Robert and her sanity in "Lincoln". I need to see a lot more, I am sure I will have more ideas later.
As far as movie moments go...a tie between Batman igniting the fire bat logo on the bridge and Hulk smashing Loki around.
I was just coming in here to post "Bilbo deciding to let Gollum live." It passes without fanfare, but it's the most important decision made in the Third Age. And Martin Freeman does a great job with it.
